Apollo 12 was the sixth manned flight in the United States Apollo program and the second to land on the Moon. The Apollo 12 Kapton foil is signed “Dick Gordon Apollo XII” affixed to a period photo of the three astronauts Gordan, Bean and Cooper.
The official limited in person launch card 11/14/69 is signed “ Alan Bean to the moon and stars” and it also matted with a Apollo 12 Commemorative cover, rocket post 11/14/1969 signed by Charles Conrad and Willy A. Fiedler (Helped with the development with the Polaris Missile). All three astronaut autographs accompanied with Zarelli COA.
Apollo 12 was launched on November 14, 1969, from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, four months after Apollo 11. Commander Charles "Pete" Conrad and Lunar Module Pilot Alan L. Bean performed just over one day and seven hours of lunar surface activity while Command Module Pilot Richard F. Gordon remained in lunar orbit. The landing site for the mission was located in the southeastern portion of the Ocean of Storms.
