1909-11 T206 Sweet Caporal 350/30 Ty Cobb (Bat Off Shoulder) Global 1st graded NM-MT 8.
In 1911, close to the time of this card's debut, Tyrus Raymond Cobb was at the apex of his carreer. This is the year the American League named him, Most Valuable Player, the only season he was honored as such. The image shows Cobb in his stance with the bat off his shoulder. The background in the card shows the fantastic pastels with Cobb looking as if he is about to make the hit! This card is considered to be one of, if not the most beautiful of all cards of the Georgia Peach.
Graded by Global when they first opened in the first version Global case as an NM-MT 8. This card is in amazing condition with beautiful white borders and unfaded colors, it is a visually stunning card, especially considering it is over 110 years old.
