Painter. From his first exhibition in 1942, Motherwell was recognized as a painter with a singular vision. He developed into one of the principal banner-carriers for Abstract Expressionism, greatly expanding the form by the use of collage, and incorporating his own complex symbology into hugh paintings of raw power. His works are on display in all the leadIng art museums. Wonderful color print removed from an art book measuring 10"X13". Inscribed and signed by the artist along the bottom white margin. In fine condition
