Incredible and unique 2 pages hand written by Fillmore discussing his family Tree. On one page he even outlines his genealogy. Beautifully framed. ALS, 1p. 4to, Buffalo, Sept. 25, 1869. To A.M. Caverly, Esq. With stamped addressed envelope in his hand. Caverly had asked Fillmore for some information about Fillmore's grandfather, Dr. Abithar Millerd, "as he spelled his name he regrets that he can give very little information about him but on a third page of the double letter sheet, he has written out the names and births of his children, as far as he knows them, "All of whom are dead except_ Jessie who resides at Milwaukee Wisconsin. I recollect seeing my grandfather when a small boy and hear him say he was of Welch descent. The family I think lived in Warwick Rhode Island." He suggests that Caverly seek the assistance of the Kinsleys in Bennington, Vt., who might give more information. A most interesting letter. With attractive steel engraving. The three items
