Connecticut Treasury Office 25 pounds and 4 Shillings June 1, 1780 Choice About Uncirculated. Made out to Mr. William Fuller. Signed by Peter Colt. Any of these Connecticut fiscal items are much more desirable with Colt's signature. This is about as pretty as any we have seen. A little corner bending is all that precludes a better grade from being assigned. PETER COLT (1744-1824). New Haven, Connecticut Committee of Correspondence 1774; Military Secretary to General Wooster; 1777 Continental Congress appointed Colonel and Eastern Dept. Deputy Commissary General; Treasurer of Conn. (1789-1793); related to the Colt Firearms family
