Edward Bok TLS. The letter is dated December 23, 1925. The letter is addressed to Mr. Adams regarding America's adherence to the World Court and the importance of World Peace. He writes in part "... with all due respect to the business and economic interests of the country, they take second place in importance to world peace as, without the latter, there can be no degree of the former - so my hope is that 1930 may see us as a member of the World Court..."Signature in fountain pen and in overall fine condition.
Edward Bok(October 9, 1863 – January 9, 1930) was a Dutch-born American editor and Pulitzer Prize-winning author. He was editor of the Ladies' Home Journal for 30 years (1889–1919). He also distributed popular home-building plans and created Bok Tower Gardens in central Florida.
