DS. New York's notorious "graftsman" has signed this authorization to pay William Wiley $10. for the survey of a lot at 78 Morton Street. 8x7 in fine condition. Tweed was an American politician most notable for being the "boss" of Tammany Hall, the Democratic Party political machine that played a major role in the politics of 19th century New York City and State.
