Signed business card as Major general of the United states army. Chester Victor Clifton Jr. (September 24, 1913 – December 23, 1991) was a Major General in the United States Army and an aide to Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson.
Signed 3 star general stationary Creighton W. Abrams. Creighton Williams Abrams Jr. was a United States Army general who commanded military operations in the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1972,which saw United States troop strength in South Vietnam reduced from a peak of 543,000 to 49,000. He was then Chief of Staff of the United States Army from 1972 until his death. In 1980, the United States Army named its then new main battle tank, the M1 Abrams, after him.
Signed United States Commander Berlin Stationary dated October 25th, 1970. Ralph Osborne graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Class of 1926. He retired as a U.S. Army Major General.
Signed White House Stationary , dated November 2, 1955. The letter is in reference to the heart attack that Eisenhower had in 1955. It is thanking a Mr. Gillespie for the poem and well wishes for the president. The letter is written and signed by Howard McC. Snyder, who was Eisenhower’s personal physician Howard McC. Snyder The first member of the inspector general’s staff to be specifically charged with overseeing army medicine, he traveled extensively, compiling reports on the health problems of draftees, the care of battle casualties, and evacuation and hospitalization. He was promoted to major general in 1943. On Mar. 1, 1945, he was technically retired for age but was at once recalled to active duty to serve as General Dwight D. Eisenhower''s personal physician.
Typed letter signed on Department of the Army Stationary , Febrayry 23, 1967. Signed in ink by William J. Sutton. Sutton was a military officer who rose to command the U.S. Army Reserve as a major general. In 1970, he received the Civil Affairs Association annual award, which recognizes persons who have made outstanding contributions to national defense.
