Here is another original "KC and the Sunshine Band" performance worn costume that was worn on stage by the Bands founder and lead KC (Harry Wayne Casey), circa 1975. The sleeveless Jacket is made with a mixture of fabrics and leather to create a true funky disco look. The jacket has the Name. The Jacket brings you to that exciting period in music known as the disco age. Grammy winning KC and the Sunshine Band, road the disco wave with such mega hits at "Shake, Shake, Shake (Shake Your Booty)","Your Boogie" and "(That's the Way) I Like It" were known for their live performances which was made up of a band consisting of a horn section, percussion, guitar, back-up singers and KC (Harry Wayne Casey) as lead singer and keyboardist. The jacket made by Grace Costumes in New York , has his KC initials H.C. [Harry Casey] on the tag. It is comprised of the elaborate work of mixing the materials as well as it is brass studded throughout.An incredible piece and reminder from that Disco period.
