Frederick C. Selous ("F.C. Selous"), the British hunter and African explorer (1851-1917) immortalized by H. Rider Haggard in King Solomon's Mines, 2 pages, 7 x 4 1/2", Barrymore House, Wargrave, May 20, 1897. To Dr. Dunn, regarding a box of eggs received, in which the Stone Plover eggs were intact but the two unblown Redshanks were broken.
