Pissarro, Camille (1830-1903) Autograph Letter Signed, Paris, 8 December 1899.to his son Ludovic-Rodolphe Pissarro, born in Paris in 1878, was Camille Pissarro’s fourth son. Encouraged by his father, he began drawing from nature at an early age. He was familiarly known as 'Rodo' and generally signed his works 'Ludovic-Rodo', or early on in his career, 'Rodo'.Teissier was the family notar.
Laid bifolium inscribed over one page, addressed to his son "Mon cher Rod," George re-entering the Neuilly Sanitarium, that L. Simon feels George will be fine there, and that Teissier is beside himself;I think as you do that we will be able top select a jewel for you to send to Madame Deoret,but you will have to assist me in the choice. written in brown ink, central horizontal fold, old mounts to verso of conjugate, 7 1/4 x 4 1/2 in. The ink has been slightly watered down in some areas.
