Signed book: The Viking Portable Library of Steinbeck. Later printing. NY: Viking Press, 1943. Hardcover with dustjacket, 4.5 x 7, 568 pages. Signed on the first free end page in blue ink. In very good condition, with gift presentation on half-title page, a light shade of edge toning to signed page, and scattered toning, creasing, and edge tears to dustjacket, as well as areas of paper loss to corners of front dustjacket and spint. A true collection of American classics from the 1962 Nobel laureate.
