Babe Zaharias signed photo, showing her holding the U.S. Women's Open trophy that she won in 1954. This was Zaharias' third win at the U.S. Open, beating her rival by 12 strokes, a still unmatched margin of victory. She inscribes the photo in green ink, ''Best Wishes to Guy Floyd / Sincerely / 'Babe' Zaharias''. Measures 8'' x 10''. Spotting along border and scattered creasing. Visible fold mark going through the autograph and inscription.
"Babe" Didrikson Zaharias (June 26, 1911 – September 27, 1956) was an American athlete who excelled in golf, basketball, baseball, and track and field. She won two gold medals and a silver in track and field at the 1932 Summer Olympics before turning to professional golf and winning 10 LPGA major championships.
