Two typed letters signed by Woodrow Wilson as President on White House stationary. One letter written on August 31, 1914 after his 1st wife died while he was president, it is a thank you letter for condolences after his first wife died on August 6th, “thinking about him at this time of deep distress”. Signature is a little light. The second letter also written as President on December 30, 1915, is to a group of gentleman in reference to congratulations on his second marriage. “Please accept my warm thanks for your very generous message. It is such things that keep a man in heart.. Sincerely Woodrow Wilson” . Bold signature. Both framed and matted with an image of Wilson and plaques explaining each letter
