(New York: Funk & Wagnalls, 1969), first edition, 42 pages, tan cloth binding with gilt and red spine titles and gilt decoration on the front board, 8vo (7.25" x 10.25"), price-clipped dust jacket (in protective Mylar On the half-title page, Molly signs "Sincerely Molly and" then, underneath, Norman signs in full "Norman Rockwell". The Rockwells' ugly duckling tale Willie Was Different is the story of an ugly thrushling who, quite literally, finds his own unique voice, a singing voice to be exact. The story has delighted children of all ages since its publication over 40 years ago. The book presented here is in very good condition in a good dust jacket.
