William Williams (1731-1811) was a merchant and delegate to the Continental Congress and signer Of The Declaration Of Independence from Connecticut. A native of Lebanon, CT, Williams was the son of a minister and became a Congregationalist minister himself. The Williams' home in Lebanon is on the National Register of Historic Places.
