William Henry Harrison ALS addressed to an Army supply contractor, dated "Fort Washington, August 11th, 1797" and signed "W.H. Harrison, Capt.", requesting 3 months provisions for 50 men. The piece is framed together with an engraving, the letter is about 10.25" x 8.25" with the frame 18.75" x 24.75".
Tears and small holes along creases, tear along the lower left side, possibly with old repair verso causing white spot.
