One of the high spots of American literature, importance for the influence it had on the American anti-slavery movement in the years before the Civil War. This "Three Hundred and Fifth Thousand" with the same place, publisher, date, collation, illustrations and binding as the 5,000 copy first printing, the only differences being the addition of the number of copies on the title-page, the inclusion of Geo. C. Rand in the imprint on the copyright-pages, and the correction of some of the errors in the text.
