Theodore Roosevelt, TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, The Kansas City Star letterhead, April 19th , 1918. Letter to Mr. George F. Parker in full: " My dear Mr. Parker, I am very glad to get those exceedingly interesting revelations by Prince Lichnowsky. As you say, however I am most interested in our own military conditions. Wood told the truth in straight-forward fashion. Did you ever know a more utter absurdity that the reluctance of the Administration to use the word “allies”? Faithfully Yours, Theodore Roosevelt."
George F. parker was a political writer who oversaw the literary bureau. Letter In very good to fine condition, with light toning to the left side of the letter, and pin holes to the upper left corner. Accompanied by Daniels's retained carbon copy of his letter to Roosevelt from a week earlier.
