Rare Autograph Auction Featuring Edison's Patent

A uncommon Ink signature as, "Rutherford B. Hayes", above the printed caption "Commander and Chief” on an off-white 3.75 x 2.25 paper. Most likely cut from a certificate as Commander in Chief of the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States (MOLLUS), a brotherhood of former Union officers. Signature in very good to fine condition.
