Manuscript DS, signed “ Copia Exam Steph Sewall, Rec,” one page, 7.5 x 8, June 30, 1691. Rare to find a document within just months of when the the which trials begin! Document concerning the poer of administration is granted to a Thomas Robie of Hampton to the estate of his brother, Signed at the conclusion by Sewall as justice of the peace, writing Intersecting folds, has split down the middle and been repaired with archival mending tape,scattered toning, creasing, and foxing, otherwise good condition. Any name associated with the Salem Witch Trials is highly sought after by collectors.
