Rare signed (7x4") sepia photograph of London Full length pose in a jacket and cap, is inscribed "Cordially yours, Jack London."
The note reads in part: "My dear Mrs. Wishaar: Please find herewith photograph requested, and please pardon this brief note be[cause] I am rushed to death these days, working every moment in order to wind up my work befor[e I] go East..." The photograph, a full view of London in a jacket and cap, is inscribed "Cordially yours, Jack London." Note has small area of paper fill at the left edge, affecting two words, some wear and soiling, address and date on a small piece affixed to the top; photograph chipped at edges, signature slightly affected, small piece lacking at top; also fold line in lower quadrant otherwise in fine condition.
