A good vintage signed 5.5 x 11 photograph by Renoir, being a reproduction of one of the artist’s paintings depicting a tree lined country lane. Signed “Renoir” in black in k by the artist to the lower border. Also signed by the Mayor of Cagnes beneath a short statement in French confirming the authenticity of Renoir’s signature on the original painting, dated Cagnes, 13th January 1917. The lower border also features the Mayor’s official circular purple ink rubber stamp. Very slightly irregularly trimmed to the right edge with a few light surfaces creases to the lower edge.
