Wells of 7 pounds, two Shillings, 7 pence for salt peter "made in & sold to this Colony & charge the Colony.." Boldly signed
as a member of Committee one month before the Declaration of Independence. Signed also by JOHN LAWRENCE as
treasurer and others. Receipt penned on verso. Fine.
