A set of four military 2.25" x 3.5" autographed cards. Leslie Groves and Harris Laning sign two of the cards in black ink. The other two remain unidentified but have signed in blue and black ink. All are in fine condition.

Leslie Groves Jr. (17 August 1896 – 13 July 1970) was a United States Army Corps of Engineers officer who oversaw the construction of the Pentagon and directed the Manhattan Project, a top secret research project that developed the atomic bomb during World War II.

Harris Laning (October 18, 1873 – February 2, 1941) was a prominent officer in the United States Navy who eventually rose to the rank of Admiral. He was the uncle of Caleb Barrett Laning, who also achieved that rank.
