Scarce color 21.25 x 12 print from the 1963 book Where the Wild Things Are, depicting Max and four beasts performing a full moon rumpus, signed and inscribed in the lower border in black ballpoint, “For Harry & Beverly Kanen, Maurice Sendak, July ‘73,” adding a small sketch of his character Carol saying “Boo!” Matted and in fine condition, with light wrinkling from being mounted to a heavier sheet. A fantastic and beautifully rendered print of one of the book’s most treasured moments.
