Order to impede the revolting Moorish quadrilles in the region known as the ‘Venta de la Hacha,’ in part (translated): “We have ordered Captain Lazaro Moreno to reside there with his mounted harquebusiers of his company and the same for Juan de Caceres with his squadron of soldiers all of which must patrol said lands with great care and precautions so that these Moors be captured and those that were forced to leave the ‘Soto’ in that district do not come to harm.” Signed at the conclusion by Luis de Requesens.
