Frederick Opper Daily Editorial Comic Strip Original Art ). We suspect that this piece is from either an issue of Puck or possibly from an unknown newspaper. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 14" x 15 1/2" matted to 18" x 20" . Slight tanning and you can see where he added to the illustration on the policeman.
