Signer of the U.S. Constitution from Pennsylvania (1749–1822) who also ran unsuccessfully as the Federalist vice-presidential candidate in the 1812 election. DS, 8.25" x 12", November 11, 1815.This document is an indictment that he signed as attorney general against a Henry Clarke for stealing items. The documents top portion is detached, and there is some staining in slight discoloration, but does not effect the signature which is in good condition.
