This is a collection of 4 items. the fisrt being a First Day Cover of the 1973 George Gershwin stamp, which is signed by Ira Gershwin undersneath his printed return address on the envelope. It also has afixed to the bottom left a Bold fountain pen George Gershwin signature clpped from a signed check. The signature is a large 3.25" x 1". The cover does show some slight toning and corner bends as well as stam has some abrassions, but both signatures are fine condition.The next item is a signed book by Ira Gershwin to a friend whos;s name was James Robin, in good consition, some slight ink smudges on a few lettrs, but in good condition. The other piecie is a holiday greetings and good wishes form both Mr. Mrs. (Ira) Gershwin, it is written by Ira. last ia Mrs. Ira Gershwins Union 76 Union National Credit Cards, says she has been a member since 1937. Unusual lot.
