Also comes with an engraving showing Burnside in uniform,Fine condition. Ambrose Everett Burnside was an American soldier, railroad executive, inventor, industrialist, and politician from Rhode Island, serving as governor and a U.S. Senator. As a Union Army general in the American Civil War. His distinctive style of facial hair inspired what is now known to be sideburns, derived from his last name.
