Charlie Chaplin (1889-1977) British Comic Actor. Chaplin Is Widely Regarded As The Greatest Comic Artist Of The Screen And One Of The Most Important Figures In Motion-picture History. As His Alter Ego, The Little Tramp, He Improvised An Outfit Consisting Of A Too-small Coat, Too-large Pants, Floppy Shoes, And A Battered Derby. As A Finishing Touch, He Pasted On A Postage-stamp Mustache And Adopted A Cane As An All-purpose Prop. This is a rare signed photo form one of his favorite movies the Gold Rush, as the little tramp signed. The photo is also accompanied with a signature on a slip of paper from his wife. These where both most likely signed in the early 70's.
