Original black and white photo selected by Mrs. Kennedy for the prayer card, one of each of rejected prayer cards, five mass cards and March 1964 National Geographic “John Fitzgerald Kennedy: The Last Full Measure.” From Sanford L. Fox Chief of the Social Entertainments Office 1969 through 1974. Fox oversaw the planning of events throughout the Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon and Ford administrations.
A collection of eight items, including the original 14” x 11" black and white photograph selected by Mr. Kennedy for the Mass Card. Also one each of the two versions of the rejected Mass Card design, one with black border and one without, and five Mass Cards which were used at the Funeral Service. Included in this lot is a reprint from the March 1964 National Geographic "John Fitzgerald Kennedy: The Last Full Measure" in which on page 307 the rejected mass card is shown in error
