Judy Garland signed contract November 6, 1963 for Diahann Carroll and Judy Garland show for the performance on January 31, 1964 for season of The Judy Garland Show (CBS, 1963-1964) compensation of $7500 signed by both. Although there is some damage water damage and paper damage to the left side of the contract and part of Diahann’s signature Judy Garland signature is quite clean and can easily be framed and cropped out. The lot also includes other related paperwork from the show. Photocopies and accounting sheet for line cost for some of her shows. These show the fees related to everything from stage hands the wardrobe. There is lot also included is a signed agreement by Peter Lawford in reference to Judy Garland show, although in poor condition the Lawford signature has been water stained and faded out. There are also folders related to the below the line cost from 1964 for performances for the Judy Garland show the folders have for Jack Jones, Louise Jourdan and Kirby Stone, Diahann Carroll and Mel Torme and Martha Ray and Peter Lawford.

Judy Garland (June 10, 1922 – June 22, 1969) was an American actress, singer, vaudevillian and dancer. With a career spanning 45 years, she attained international stardom as an actress in both musical and dramatic roles, as a recording artist, and on the concert stage. She appeared in more than two dozen films for MGM and is remembered for portraying Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz (1939). the American Film Institute ranked her as the eighth-greatest female screen legend of Classic Hollywood Cinema.

 

Diahann Carroll (July 17, 1935 – October 4, 2019) was an American actress, singer, model, and activist. She rose to prominence in some of the earliest major studio films to feature black casts, including Carmen Jones (1954) and Porgy and Bess (1959). In 1962, Carroll won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical, a first for an African American woman, for her role in the Broadway musical No Strings. In 1974 she starred in Claudine alongside James Earl Jones for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress. 

Her title role in Julia, for which she received the 1968 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress In a Television Series, was the first series on American television to star a black woman in a non-stereotypical role, was a milestone both in her career and the medium. In the 1980s, she played the role of Dominique Deveraux, a mixed-race diva, in the prime time soap opera Dynasty. Carroll was the recipient of numerous stage and screen nominations and awards, including her Tony Award in 1962, Golden Globe Award in 1968 and five Emmy Award nominations.
