Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 15.5 x 9.75, November 6, 1823. President Monroe grants James Akin of Cape Girardeau County Missouri, a tract of land in Cape Girardeau County Missouri"containing Eighty Acres." Nicely signed at the conclusion by President Monroe and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. The crisp white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains fully intact. In good to fine condition, sdome fading to ink , although Monroe signature is daerk, with light wrinkling and soiling, and a few small stains.
