A 2-page agreement between Howard Hawks as the Employer and William Hawks as the Writer regarding rights to a short story by Pat Frank entitled THE GIRL WHO ALMOST GOT AWAY, 1 1/2 pages, May 7, 1962. Signed on the second page in blue` ink by Howard Hawks and William Hawks. Hawks was a versatile director whose career included comedies, dramas, gangster films, science fiction, film noir, and westerns. Some of his most popular films include Scarface, Sergeant York ,Rio Bravo and Gentleman Prefer Blonds.
