Elegant and rare vintage sepia matte-finish 12"x16" signed photo of Flagler done by photographer B. Frank Puffer, New York-Palm Beach, copyright 1910. This photo was given to a John D. Crimmins, a good friend of Flagler and one of the wealthiest men in New York at the time, making his fortune building, sky scrapers, and street railways. He was also known as having one of the finest private collections of rare books in the United States. Photo signed below portrait on mat in sepia-black ink reads“ John D. Crimmins with all good wishes, February 20, 1913” “Henry Flagler” “In fine condition. Flagler the founder of what became the Florida East Coast Railway is known as the father of Miami, Florida and also founded Palm Beach. Very Rare in signed photos and this is by far the finest we have ever seen!
