An interesting signed envelope by the important photographer Edward Jean Steichen. The back of the envelope does have what is an original portrait drawing of possibly Carl Sandburg and his signed by RJuon, most likely the recipient of the autograph which was Roberta Juon.
Edward Jean Steichen (March 27, 1879 – March 25, 1973) was a Luxembourgish American photographer, painter, and curator, who is widely renowned as one of the most prolific and influential figures in the history of photography.
