Wilson, Edith Bolllnq: ALS on the First Lady's engraved "Mrs. Woodrow Wilson" paneled, expanded note sheet. Comes with envelope bearing her (stamped) free frank. 60 words in the hand of the woman who virtually served, with much secrecy and controversy, as President for many months after Woodrow Wilson suffered his paralyzing stroke. During this period the London Daily Mail reported that she was proving to be a perfectly capable "president."
