E. B. White Hand Signed Volume ""Is Sex Necessary", 1944, illustrated by James Thurber, inscribed in ink "To my chum E. B. White ex-humorist", the chum being Brendan Gill as noted on the inside cover. The contents also have a penciled W or T, possible in White's hand, next to each section or chapter, apparently identifying the main author, White or Thurber. Nice association book form teh author of the children's classic Charlotte's Web.
