Civil War discharge paper for Private James G ?. of Company E, 20th Regiment of ?. He is described as being from New York, twenty one years of age, five feet five inches high, black complexion, black eyes and black hair. The paper is dated October 7, 1865, New Orleans. Folded several times, but still attractive.
