Cause of death stated as "fracture of skull, shock, fracture of entire body, third degree burns all over entire body, airplane crash, Nevada, mountains. Informant: Clark Gable, Encino, Calif.; burial/cremation, Los Angeles, Calif." Lombard was a few
minutes into a flight to promote the sale of war bonds when the plane crashed into mountains during violent storm. Gable had pleaded with her not to go, but she insisted on taking off for performance as promised. In fine condition. Accompanied with photo copy of Clark Gables,
