CALVIN COOLIDGE 30th President 1923-1929. Lot of 2 typed and signed letters by Coolidge. 1) Typed letter signed, as President 2 June 1924 On The White House stationary to Edward Bok (1863-1930) was an editor and Pulitzer Prize-winning author. He edited the Ladies Home Journal for thirty years and was known for his support of progressive social policies. 2) Typed letter signed 19 December 1932 Northampton MA Col. Walter Scott (1861-1935), was a merchant and philanthropist involved with many charities in Massachusetts. Coolidge frets over the state of his friends health, but would himself die suddenly seventeen days after the date of this letter.
