Ben Turpin signed check, dated 1921, and about 5.5 x 7.5 in size. Matted with a great b/w photo to an overall size of 12" x 16".

Ben Turpin (September 19, 1869 – July 1, 1940) was an American comedian and actor, best remembered for his work in silent films. His trademarks were his cross-eyed appearance and adeptness at vigorous physical comedy. Turpin worked with notable performers such as Charlie Chaplin and Laurel and Hardy, and was a part of the Mack Sennett studio team. He is believed to have been the first filmed "victim" of the pie in the face gag. When sound came to films, Turpin chose to retire.

Personal check, 8.25 x 3.5, filled out in type and signed by Price, “Vincent L. Price, Jr.,” payable to his former wife Edith Barrett for $375, September 15, 1976. Matted and framed with a delightful photo of Price to an overall size of 16.25 x 21.25. In fine condition, with expected bank stamps (near but not touching signature). 

Vincent Price (May 27, 1911 – October 25, 1993) was an American actor. He was known for his work in the horror film genre, mostly portraying villains. He appeared on stage, television, and radio, and in more than 100 films. Price has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one for motion pictures and one for television.
