1999 Denver Broncos Super Bowl XXXIII Championship Ring. Despite debating on whether or not to retire after winning Super Bowl XXXII in 1998, the Denver Broncos' legendary quarterback John Elway decided to give it one more season before he'd ride off into the sunset. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of his life, as the monumental '98 Broncos squad started the season by winning its first 13 games, the best start for any team since the unbeaten 1972 Miami Dolphins.
The team ended up going 14-2, and it was good enough to earn home-field advantage throughout the NFL postseason, which they dominated while capping the season off with a Super Bowl XXXIII victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Offered here is one of two Denver Broncos Super Bowl rings that we are proud to showcase in our October catalog auction, and they were each presented to former team administrator Jim Reese for his contributions during the significant era.
Accompanied by its original wood presentation box, the shimmering Jostens showpiece is the exact same style as received by Elway and his teammates, while it presents 14 karat gold and an 18 karat gold two-Bronco head insert on the top. "WORLD CHAMPIONS" is spelled around the border, while 34 original diamonds are beautifully inserted. In addition, 82 white and yellow diamonds make up the background behind the double horse head, and the left side reads "REESE" with six diamonds and the right features two marquis diamonds. Interior of band is properly stamped "14K JOSTENS", while the "11.75 [size]" ring exhibits Mint quality throughout.
