This is an interesting collection put together by Miss Helen Hull Monnette in which she sent cards for the important people of the day to sign and write any information about themselves. Most of them are signed in the early 1920’s. The collection of over 30 signed autographs has a who’s who of celebrities of the time. Some of the signatures in the collection are that of the 1st and 2nd woman to be elected to Congress ( Jeannette Rankin and Alice Mary Robertson ). Some of the other autographs include Harry Runyon‘s a democrat, Reverend Henry Condon who is the blind chaplain at the house of representatives and serve the house for 25 ,Richmond Pearson Hobson who is also signed it as late U.S. Navy and member of Congress and author, Lieutenant Ants Kloor who is a free pilot a balloon ,a signed piece by the Indian commissioner of the time Cato Sells and many more.
